Meet-cutes, enemies-to-lovers, fake dating, and moving to a small town in the Pacific Northwest to save a struggling family business: let’s fall in love.

This workshop will look at examples of the genre in theatre, film, and television and familiarize you with the common tropes and themes to build your fluency in rom-com storytelling. From there, we will go over a broad selection of choreographic options for telling these romantic, sweet, corny, heart-breaking (and heart-fixing) stories.
