Go-to-Moves: Horror (Nov. 3)

Cabins in the woods, mysterious new neighbors, and bumps in the night. Cue the screechy violins.

This workshop will look at examples of the horror genre in theatre, film, and television and familiarize you with the common tropes and themes to build your fluency scary storytelling. From there, we will go over a broad selection of choreographic options for telling these horrifying stories.

Participants will learn a broad selection of choreographic options for telling these stories and review some common concerns and considerations of the genre.

If you have a horror project coming your way (or you want to be ready for one when it finds you), this workshop is for you.
